    Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake

If you’re a chocolate peanut butter like me, you’re going to fall in love with this Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake. A deliciously moist chocolate cake pairs perfectly with a creamy peanut butter frosting! And we cannot forget that peanut butter is the star of the show, but not just any peanut butter, G2G Peanut Butter. This peanut butter has such clean ingredients and is so natural, which makes it that much better for you too, which is a huge win in my book!

I have always been the type of girl that could eat peanut butter by the spoonful, and the G2G kind is that much better. I love that it’s semi-smooth, so it pairs perfectly with everything—I’ve tried it in my protein shakes, on toast with bananas, and of course in this delicious chocolate cake!

Why You’ll Love This Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake

    1. Rich Chocolate Base: The cake is moist, fluffy, and deeply chocolaty—a perfect complement to the frosting.
    2. Decadent Peanut Butter Frosting: Thanks to G2G Peanut Butter, the frosting is creamy, rich, and loaded with authentic peanut flavor.
    3. Easy to Make: With straightforward steps and simple ingredients, you can whip up this cake in under an hour.
    4. Perfect for Any Occasion: Whether it’s a birthday, a potluck, or just a Tuesday night, this cake is guaranteed to impress.

Ingredients for Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake

    For the Chocolate Cake:

    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 egg
    • ½ cup milk
    • ¼ cup vegetable oil
    • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
    • 1 cup flour
    • ½ cup cocoa powder
    • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
    • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • ¼ cup boiling water

For the Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Frosting:

    • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 3 cups powdered sugar
    • 1 cup G2G Peanut Butter

Instructions for Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake

    For the Chocolate Cake:

    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x9-inch pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper. Set aside.
    2. In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, egg, milk, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
    3. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
    4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, whisking for about 2 minutes until combined.
    5. Stir in the boiling water. The batter will be thin—this is normal! Pour it into the prepared pan.
    6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely.

For the Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Frosting:

    1. In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter until creamy. Add cream cheese and mix until smooth.
    2. Incorporate the G2G Peanut Butter, beating until fully combined.
    3. Gradually mix in powdered sugar until the frosting is smooth and silky.

    Assembly:

    1. Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled chocolate cake.
    2. Slice into squares and serve with a glass of cold milk!

Why G2G Peanut Butter is the Game-Changer

Not all peanut butters are created equal, and G2G Peanut Butter proves this with its unbeatable freshness and quality. It’s free of preservatives and loaded with the kind of pure peanut taste that shines in every dish.

Plus, if you order with my code “TGWWH” you will get 15% off your order.

It’s not just the peanut butter from G2G that is irresistible though– I am a HUGE fan of their protein bars. I have been buying these bars for years, and I mean it. I only work with brands that I truly am passionate about, and this one is definitely up there in quality. This company is local to me, and I love supporting local.
