Ingredients for Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake
For the Chocolate Cake:
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ¾ teaspoon baking powder
- ¾ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup boiling water
For the Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup G2G Peanut Butter

For the Chocolate Cake:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x9-inch pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper. Set aside.

- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely.
For the Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Frosting:
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter until creamy. Add cream cheese and mix until smooth.

Ingredients
For the Chocolate Cake:
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ¾ teaspoon baking powder
- ¾ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup boiling water
For the Peanut Butter Frosting:
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup G2G brand peanut butter
Instructions
For the Chocolate Cake:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9x9 pan with cooking spray or line with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the wet ingredients minus the boiling water: sugar, eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth.
- In a separate, medium sized bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and whisk for 2 minutes, or until well combined.
- Stir in the boiling water and pour into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean in the middle of the cake. Let cool while you prepare the peanut butter frosting
For the Peanut Butter Frosting:
- In a mixing bowl, use an electric beater to beat the butter until softened well. Add in the cream cheese and beat again until creamed with the butter well.
- Beat in the G2G Peanut Butter until a creamy consistency forms.
- Add in the powdered sugar slowly, and combine until it all forms a beautiful and silk frosting.
- Add frosting to the top of the cooled chocolate cake and spread evenly across the top.
- Slice and enjoy with a glass of milk!
