Why You'll Love These Frozen Banana Pops with PB:

    1. Simple and Fun to Make: This recipe is perfect for involving kids in the kitchen or whipping up a snack with minimal effort.
    2. Customizable: Swap out the semisweet chocolate for milk or dark chocolate, or even try adding toppings like sprinkles, nuts, or crushed pretzels.
    3. Quick and Healthy Treat: With just a few ingredients, you get a deliciously indulgent snack that balances sweetness with the natural goodness of bananas.

    Ingredients:

    • 2 bananas, peeled and halved horizontally
    • 4 popsicle sticks
    • 1 cup semisweet chocolate (or milk chocolate if you prefer)
    • 1 cup Cocoa Dyno-Bites
    • ¼ cup peanut butter

    Instructions:

    1. Prep the Bananas:
Start by peeling and halving the bananas. Insert a popsicle stick into the cut end of each half, turning them into banana popsicles.
    2. Freeze the Bananas:
Wrap each banana in aluminum foil or place them on a lined baking sheet, then freeze until fully solid. Freezing overnight is ideal for the best results.
    3. Melt the Chocolate:
Right before the bananas are ready, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until the chocolate is smooth and glossy.
    4. Melt the Peanut Butter:
While the chocolate is melting, warm the peanut butter for 15-20 seconds in a microwave-safe bowl, or place it in a zip-top bag to melt. If you’re using a bag, snip a small corner for easy drizzling.
    5. Prepare the Toppings:
Pour the Cocoa Dyno-Bites into a small bowl, ready for coating.
    6. Dip, Coat, and Drizzle:
Remove the frozen bananas from the freezer, quickly dipping each into the melted chocolate. The chocolate will harden almost instantly, so work fast to press or roll the bananas into the Cocoa Dyno-Bites.
Finish with a drizzle of melted peanut butter for that extra burst of flavor.
    7. Enjoy Immediately:
These banana pops are best enjoyed right away for maximum crunch!

Tips for Making the Best Frozen Banana Pops with PB:

    • If you prefer an extra-thick chocolate coating, dip the bananas twice, freezing them briefly between each coating.
    • Try using different cereals or toppings for a fun twist!

Whether you're a kid at heart or just love simple, refreshing treats, these Frozen Banana Pops are sure to hit the spot. The mix of chocolate, peanut butter, and crispy Cocoa Dyno-Bites makes every bite a perfect balance of creamy and crunchy. Perfect for sharing or keeping all to yourself—either way, this is a recipe that’s bound to become a freezer staple!

    Prep Time 20 minutes mins
Total Time 2 hours hrs 20 minutes mins
    Servings 4 popsicles

    Equipment

    • Popsicle or Cake Pop Sticks

    Ingredients

    • 2 bananas peeled and halved horizontally
    • 4 popsicle sticks
    • 1 cup semisweet chocolate or milk chocolate if you prefer
    • 1 cup Cocoa Dyno-Bites
    • ¼ cup peanut butter

    Instructions

    • Start by peeling and halving the bananas. Insert popsicle sticks into each half to create banana popsicles.
    • Wrap each banana in aluminum foil and place them in the freezer until fully frozen (overnight works best).
    • Just before taking the bananas out of the freezer, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and fully melted to prevent burning or clumps.
    • While the chocolate is melting, also melt the peanut butter. This can be done in a microwave-safe bowl or a zip-top plastic bag. Heat for 15-20 seconds. If using a zip-top bag, cut off a small corner after melting for easy drizzling.
    • Pour the Cocoa Dyno-Bites into a small bowl, ready for coating.
    • Once the chocolate is melted, quickly remove the bananas from the freezer and unwrap the foil.
    • Dip each banana in the melted chocolate, then immediately roll or press them into the Cocoa Dyno-Bites. Since the bananas are frozen, the chocolate will harden quickly, so work fast.
    • Drizzle the melted peanut butter over the coated bananas, then serve and enjoy right away!
