    This Cinnamon Streusel Banana Bread takes my classic banana bread recipe up a notch! The combination of ripe bananas, warm cinnamon, and a buttery streusel topping makes this bread irresistible. Perfect for breakfast, a snack, or even dessert, this recipe is sure to become a favorite in your household.

    Ingredients for Cinnamon Streusel Banana Bread:

    For the Banana Bread:

    • 3 bananas
    • ½ cup butter, melted
    • ¾ cup granulated sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1 cup milk chocolate chips (optional)

    For the Cinnamon Streusel Topping:

    • 3 tablespoons flour
    • ¼ cup brown sugar
    • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 3 tablespoons butter, slightly softened and cut into pieces

    Instructions for Cinnamon Streusel Banana Bread:

    1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bread loaf pan, then set it aside.
    2. Prepare the Banana Bread Batter:
      • In a medium-sized bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
      • Add the melted butter, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Stir to combine.
      • Add the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon to the wet ingredients. Mix until everything is well blended.
      • If using, fold in the milk chocolate chips.
    3. Prepare the Cinnamon Streusel Topping:
      • In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
      • Add the slightly softened butter to the dry ingredients. Use a fork or your fingers to mix until the mixture is crumbly and well combined.
    4. Assemble and Bake:
      • Pour the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan.
      • Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon streusel topping over the batter.
      • Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 50 minutes. Check the bread after 50 minutes and continue baking in two-minute increments until a toothpick or knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
    5. Cool and Serve:
      • Let the banana bread cool in the pan before slicing.
      • Serve with butter for an extra indulgent treat. Enjoy!
