This quick and easy air fryer chicken wings recipe will have you enjoying mouthwatering wings in just 25 minutes. With the perfect blend of spices and a crispy exterior, these wings are a game-changer for any occasion. Let's dive into the details and get ready to elevate your wing game!

    Air Fryer Chicken Wings

    Equipment

    • Air Fryer
    • Tongs
    • Bowl

    Ingredients

    • Chicken wings
    • Garlic powder
    • Onion powder
    • Salt
    • Paprika
    • Pepper
    • Olive oil
    • Sauce of choice

    Instructions

    Prep the Chicken Wings:
    • Start by patting down the chicken wings with a paper towel until they are fairly dry. This step is crucial for achieving that coveted crispy texture.
    Season the Wings:
    • In a large bowl, add the chicken wings and sprinkle them with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, paprika, pepper, and a few tablespoons of olive oil. Ensure that each wing is well-coated with the flavorful seasoning.
    Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F for 20 minutes. This step is essential for creating the perfect cooking environment that results in crispy wings.
    Cook the Wings:
    • Once the air fryer is preheated, place the seasoned wings in the basket, making sure not to overcrowd them. Cook the wings for 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure even cooking.
    Check for Crispiness:
    • After the 20 minutes are up, check the wings to make sure they are crispy and cooked through. If needed, you can add a few extra minutes to achieve your desired level of crispiness.
    Serve with Your Favorite Sauce:
    • The finishing touch! Serve the wings with your sauce of choice. Whether you love the heat of buffalo, the savory richness of parmesan garlic, or the sweet and tangy kick of teriyaki, the options are endless. Our personal favorite is Buffalo Wild Wings sauces, especially the parmesan garlic – it's a flavor explosion!

    Variations & Substitutions

You can adjust the seasoning however you like on this. If you want to add garlic salt instead of salt and garlic powder, go for it! You can also cook these in the oven, but they are not nearly as delicious. The air fryer allows them to have the crispy texture.

As for the sauces, we like to try these wings with lots of sauces depending on how we're feeling that day. Switch it up and find your favorite. Here are some of our favorite sauces:

    • Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic
    • Teriyaki Sauce
    • Other Buffalo Wild Wings Sauces
