For some reason I am a HUGE fan of Frozen Banana Popsicles! When I tried my first delicious frozen banana at a local shop by my home, I was convinced I needed to recreate my own at home - they’re a lot cheaper to make, and really not too difficult. The best part? Well, besides eating it of course, is that you get to make these super versatile with different toppings and variations. If you’re not a fruity fan, try my chocolate peanut butter frozen banana pop instead. Feel free to create it to be whatever you would like.

Frozen Banana Popsicle with Fruity Dyno-Bites & Marshmallow Drizzle

This is the perfect after-school snack, and whether you and your friends or you and your kids make these together, they’ll be a big hit!

Why You'll Love These Frozen Banana Popsicles:

    • Quick Prep, Big Flavor: You only need 20 minutes of active time to assemble these banana pops, and the freezer takes care of the rest!
    • Fun for Kids: The vibrant colors of Fruity Dyno-Bites and the sticky marshmallow drizzle will make this a fun treat to involve your kids in, especially when it's time to dip and drizzle.
    • Customizable: Swap Fruity Dyno-Bites for Cocoa Dyno-Bites, granola, or sprinkles to match your mood or pantry.

    Ingredients for Frozen Banana Popsicles:

    For the Bananas:

    • 2 bananas, peeled and halved horizontally
    • 4 popsicle sticks (or cake pop stick)

    For the Topping:

    • 1 cup semisweet or milk chocolate, melted
    • 1 cup Fruity Dyno-Bites

    For the Marshmallow Drizzle:

    • 7 ounces marshmallow creme
    • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
    • Dash of vanilla extract
Chocolate covered frozen banana with sprinkle toppings and marshmallows

    Instructions for Frozen Banana Popsicles:

    1. Prepare the Bananas:
Peel and halve the bananas horizontally, then insert a popsicle stick into each banana half. Wrap them in aluminum foil and freeze until fully frozen (overnight works best for texture).

    2. Make the Marshmallow Drizzle:
While the bananas are freezing, mix the marshmallow creme, heavy cream, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth. For easy drizzling, transfer the mixture to a squeeze bottle or store in the fridge until ready.

    3. Assemble the Popsicles:
Once the bananas are frozen, melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Place the Fruity Dyno-Bites in a small bowl. Remove the bananas from the freezer and unwrap them. Dip each one in the melted chocolate, then quickly roll them in the Fruity Dyno-Bites.

    4. Add the Finishing Touch:
Drizzle the marshmallow sauce over the chocolate-covered bananas. The chocolate will harden almost instantly due to the frozen bananas, so work swiftly! Enjoy immediately for the best flavor and texture.

    Pro Tips:

    • Freezing Bananas: To avoid browning, freeze the bananas as soon as you peel and halve them. Wrapping them tightly in aluminum foil also helps keep them fresh.
    • Chocolate Consistency: If your melted chocolate is too thick, add a teaspoon of coconut oil to make it smoother and easier to work with.
    • Storage: If you have leftovers (though it’s hard to imagine!), keep them in the freezer for up to 3 days. The marshmallow drizzle will harden, but it’s still delicious!

These Frozen Banana Popsicles with Marshmallow Fluff and Fruity Dyno-Bites are a delightful combination of crunchy, creamy, and sweet. It’s the perfect treat for any occasion. AND it would be so fun to do a girls night with several different toppings for your bananas. Try Oreos, pretzel crumbs, Butterfinger crumbs, mini marshmallows, etc. If you try a different combo and love it, please comment below! Enjoy, friends!

    Instructions

    For the Bananas:

    • Peel and halve the bananas horizontally. Insert a popsicle stick into each half to form banana popsicles.

    • Just before removing the bananas from the freezer, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
    • Pour the Fruity Dyno-Bites into a small bowl, ready for dipping.
    • Once the chocolate is ready, take the bananas out of the freezer and remove the foil.
    • Dip each banana in the melted chocolate, then immediately roll or press them into the Fruity Dyno-Bites. Since the bananas are frozen, the chocolate will set quickly, so work fast.
