If you're craving something sweet, warm, and comforting, but don't want to spend hours in the kitchen, then this Oreo Mug Cake is perfect for the job! This recipe was a TikTok trend a few years ago, so I had to bring it back with a twist! Oreo Mug Cake meets chocolate chips. Chocolate Oreo Mug Cake for the win? Seriously this dessert is a game-changer with chocolate chips incorporated into the batter. This dessert is done in 5 minutes and doesn’t require you to heat up your oven… Have I convinced you to make this yet? Let’s get to it then!

    Oreo Mug Cake

    Ingredients for Oreo Mug Cake

    • 5 Oreos
    • ¼ cup milk
    • ½ teaspoon baking powder
    • ½ teaspoon cocoa powder
    • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips

    Instructions for Oreo Mug Cake

    • In your favorite microwave-safe mug, add 5 Oreos and ¼ cup of milk. Stir until the Oreos are mostly dissolved into the milk, creating a smooth mixture.
    • Add the baking powder, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract to the mug. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
    • Sprinkle in the mini chocolate chips and give the mixture one final stir to distribute them evenly.
    • Microwave the mug cake for 1 minute, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Keep in mind that microwave wattages vary, so you may need to adjust the cooking time slightly.
    • Carefully remove the mug from the microwave (it will be hot!) and allow it to cool for a moment before digging in.
    • Enjoy your warm and gooey treat straight from the mug, or top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent treat!

    1-Minute Oreo Mug Cake

This recipe serves one, making it the perfect individual dessert for those solo Netflix nights or last-minute cravings. But if you are trying to feed more than one, don't worry, you can totally make multiple of these delicious mug cakes with just one box of Oreo cookies!

I hate when I have a sweet tooth craving after dinner but I am not in the mood to make dessert after having just made dinner. This Oreo Mug Cake is your solution! Done in just 5 minutes with minimal prep and cleanup, you're going to love this sweet tooth treat. Plus, aren't mug cakes just the best?
