Cuisine American
- 1 package Double Stuf Oreo cookies keep the filling
- 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
- 1 12-ounce package orange candy melts
- 5 pretzel sticks cut into small pieces (for the pumpkin stems)
Crush the Oreos: Place the entire package of Oreos (filling included) into a blender or food processor. Blend until they form fine crumbs.
Combine with Cream Cheese: In a mixing bowl, use a stand mixer (or hand mixer) to blend the Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese until fully combined. The mixture should be smooth and moldable.
Form the Balls: Use a 1-inch cookie scoop to portion out the mixture. Roll each portion into a ball and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Chill: Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and chill for about 20 minutes, or until the balls are firm.
Melt the Candy Melts: In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the orange candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
Dip the Balls: Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each Oreo ball into the melted candy. Ensure each ball is coated evenly, then place it back on the parchment-lined sheet. Insert a small piece of pretzel stick on top of each ball to create a “pumpkin stem.”
Set and Serve: Place the dipped Oreo balls back in the freezer until the candy coating hardens. Transfer to the fridge or freezer for storage until ready to serve.
