Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • In a medium sized bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a standard mixer, combine the cocoa, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vegetable oil. After mixing, add the eggs and vanilla extract until combined.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and combine well. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours, or overnight in the fridge.
  • Once the chill time is complete, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Place the powdered sugar in a bowl.
  • Using a 1-inch cookie scoop, scoop out the chilled dough and roll it with your hands into balls.
  • Generously roll each ball into the powdered sugar and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10 minutes and cool for 8 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack. Enjoy!
