Equipment

  • 1 Ramekin or small skillet

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons milk chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a mini skillet and set aside.
  • Stir melted butter and sugar together until very well combined. Add the egg yolk and vanilla extract and whisk.
  • Add the cocoa powder and flour and stir until no flour chunks remain.
  • Fold in chocolate chips. Scoop batter into the greased ramekin or small skillet and bake in the oven for 16 to 20 minutes (my oven’s sweet spot was 18 minutes).
  • Top with vanilla ice cream if desired and enjoy hot out of the oven!
