Equipment

  • 1 electric handheld mixer

Ingredients

  • 1 box funfetti cake mix (15.25 ounce) just the powder
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 8 oz cool whip thawed
  • cup milk less if you want it thicker
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1.75 oz sprinkles I use Betty Crocker brand

Instructions

  • Pour the funfetti cake mix into a medium size, microwave safe bowl. Heat treat the cake mix by warming it in the microwave for 90 seconds, stopping every 30 seconds to stir. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with a handheld mixer until smooth. Add the cool whip and blend until smooth.
  • Add the milk and vanilla and blend until smooth.
  • Pour the dry cake mix in and fold together. Add the sprinkles for texture and look and stir with a spoon until smooth. If it’s thicker than you like, add more milk one tablespoon at a time.
  • Serve with your favorite dippables. We love to dip fruit, vanilla wafers, and my most favorite, broken up waffle cones. Enjoy!

Notes

I buy waffle cone bowls and just break them into smaller pieces to dip.
