Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer

Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 2 large bananas
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Cooking spray

For the Topping:

  • 6 tablespoons butter melted
  • 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

For the Glaze Dip:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 teaspoons heavy cream

Instructions

For the Donuts:

  • Mash the bananas with a fork until smooth and add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Stir with a spoon until you have a crumbly dough form. Now use your hands to fully combine the dough until you have a dough texture come together (I kneaded the dough until it came together).
  • Use your hands to separate dough balls into 1-inch round pieces.
  • Roll each dough ball until they form a round shape.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F. Spray the inside with oil or line it with parchment paper.
  • Place the round shaped dough balls in the air fryer, spaced apart, and spray them with cooking oil.
  • Air fry for 6 to 10 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

For the Topping:

  • In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon to create cinnamon sugar.
  • In a separate small bowl, melt the butter.
  • One by one, place each completed dough ball in the melted butter, and then immediately into the cinnamon sugar topping bowl - coat each completely and set aside on a plate.

For the Glaze Dip:

  • Combine the powdered sugar, cinnamon and heavy cream into a small bowl. Once a smooth glaze forms it’s ready.
  • Dip each cinnamon sugar-coated donut in the glaze dip and enjoy while warm!
